Shen Yi

Here are two images from a new series, still on-going project. The idea is to portray a particular set of population that is now forced to migrate and continue to move around in China. They no longer live with their family, they are young, innocent, yet forced to mature much faster than they should, and often living in less than ideal living conditions. I chose a more or less romantic way to show their power (almost super human power), force and energy.... all of these make me think of the topic of critical optimism.
